You’d be hard-pressed to find many American workers still benefiting from pensions in today’s U.S. economy. That’s because fewer and fewer jobs rely on this form of retirement income, preferring to opt for other plans such as 401(k)s instead.
Most certainly, pensions can no longer be considered a modern part of any hardworking American’s retirement plan. They work based on a formula revolving around your age, years of service and salary and are paid monthly- ideal for those who wish for a secure cash flow during their golden years.
But you might be surprised, there are still industries and companies who still offer them. If this is something that interests you, you have to know where to look first. Then, you have to discuss potential defined benefits with your employer right out the door.
Today we’re going to cover ten jobs that still offer pensions so that you’ll at least have an idea of where to start your search.

I’m not very internet savvy so I’m not 100% sure. Any recommendations or advice would be greatly appreciated.
