There’s a special card for the Costco Executive Membership, known as the back card, which can save you some cash if you know how to use it. Its price might be a little spicier than the gold Costco membership, but you can’t benefit the same from the golden one.

If you have a black card and you purchase anything, you get 2% cashback every single time, in the form of a rebate check. You will usually receive the total rewarded sum 3 months prior to your renewal date, which you can use to purchase any type of merchandise, except for alcohol, tobacco, and food from their food court.
