We’ve started with a golden rule, we’re also ending with a golden rule. Obviously, the best way to avoid spending a surplus of money is to just not go to the supermarket. You’ll probably be tempted by ready-made meals, frozen pizzas or something else you could make in minutes. 

But you already have food at home! And we bet you’re likely to think ‘well, I’m already here, might as well shop a little’. Don’t fall for this trap. Try to only shop once per week but make it count!
