19. Medical and Health Services Managers
Medical and health service managers hold patients’ lives in their hands even if they won’t pick up scalpels day in and day out. They oversee a hospital’s operation, meaning that they have to stay up to date with changes in healthcare in order to help as many patients and doctors as possible.
It’s one of the best paying jobs in the states and it involves quite a bit of travel, something a spouse may not be comfortable with- that’s on top of the added stress of basically maintaining a whole hospital! As you can imagine, a lot of personal issues may arise.
According to the data the divorce rate for this job sits at 13%.
18. Computer, Automated Teller and Office Machine Repairers
Who do you think fixes all the machines we use on the daily? People who fix computers, automated tellers and office machines also have a divorce rate of 13%.
Why? it’s believed it has something to do with long working hours, sometimes over 50 a week, not to mention travel times to get to and from various broken machines. With so much time spent away from home, it’s no wonder marriages tend to fail.
Next, ironically this job might cause you to lose that spark…..

Many people don’t think through the challenges marriage takes, trust, financial, children, relationships, relatives, sexual, etc.
I was surprised that Auto Sales Management and Sales people were not on the list. The hours are rediculous and unpredictable.
I have a solution; don’t get married, so you don’t have to worry about all these problems.
I totally agree.
Some of these really surprised me.
