Jewel Osco
The Midwest supermarket chain is definitely one of the most expensive stores in the states. According to Forbes, the chain is known to have become complacent, especially in Chicago. Most of their stores are dark, shabby, and definitely not updated.
Their staff is overworked and their shelves are poorly stocked. And to make things worse, they complete the list with high prices! They charge higher prices than many other stores. In fact, their prices are about five percent higher than Butera’s and 10 percent higher than Food 4 Less, but also seven to eight percent more than Target. I mean…that’s a lot!

Another hurray for WINCO:
Besides being intimidatingly large, it has an awesome Bulk Food section that keeps us coming back time after time. It’s our preferred place to shop, even though we have to drive over an hour to get there.
