It might be due to the last Thanksgiving, or it might be not…either way if you’re craving the old-school juicy turkey sandwich, you might suffer a heartbreak.
Last year, large turkeys were replaced with smaller ones, of only 14 pounds, as retailers have come to the conclusion that, due to coronavirus, people gathered in much smaller groups.
As a consequence, factories shut down due to the pandemic and many grain prices went up. This year, there was a shortage of even smaller turkeys, for the same reason as last year. If you were among the lucky ones to catch one during Thanksgiving, consider yourself lucky!
