As a whole, those who have jobs in the military have to watch out for high divorce rates in their field- as high as 15%.
This is likely due to a combination of factors. First, we have to consider the demands of the job which often include long periods of deployment. That and uprooting from different bases, often causes a lot of turmoil among military families.
Secondly, people in the military have been known to have issues reintegrating into civilian life. While a military spouse might be patient, caring, and understanding when his or her husband or wife is away, it is with the understanding that once they return their life can ‘go back to normal’ albeit for a short amount of time. When this too proves to be unsuccessful, it’s not surprising that it leads to separation.

Many people don’t think through the challenges marriage takes, trust, financial, children, relationships, relatives, sexual, etc.
I was surprised that Auto Sales Management and Sales people were not on the list. The hours are rediculous and unpredictable.
I have a solution; don’t get married, so you don’t have to worry about all these problems.
I totally agree.
