9. Library Assistants, Clerical
Jumping up one percent, library assistants have a divorce rate of 15%. Those who don’t visit libraries very often might find this particularly surprising as most people in this field do not share the same type of stressors as others on our list.
The issues may lie in the financial side of things as more than half of library assistants and technicians work part-time. With a salary of only $25,810 annually, on average, financial tensions at home could lead to messy divorces.
8. Nonfarm Animal Caretakers
It’s known that a lot of animals caretakers go into the industry due to their love for animals. Which is why it’s so heartbreaking to find out a lot of professionals go through what is known as compassion fatigue. This condition is caused by caring for one too many traumatized animals and people alike.
This sort of emotional turmoil which is difficult not to bring back home from the job could be why nonfarm animal caretakers have divorce rates of up to 15%.
The next job might make you go to war with each other…..

Many people don’t think through the challenges marriage takes, trust, financial, children, relationships, relatives, sexual, etc.
I was surprised that Auto Sales Management and Sales people were not on the list. The hours are rediculous and unpredictable.
I have a solution; don’t get married, so you don’t have to worry about all these problems.
I totally agree.
Some of these really surprised me.
