For this category, Costco is the one to “blame”, as it reported shortages of bottled water and jugs of water. Even more, the warehouse has started putting purchase limits on other items, wanting to anticipate any other shortage.
Liquor
In states such as Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Ohio, liquor stores are running short, after last year, when the demands had been higher.
But NPR clarified the whole situation to us: import prices have skyrocketed, glass bottles are harder to be sourced, AND liquor takes too much time, so the suppliers have a hard time catching up. So, who wants to quit drinking?
