Storytelling During a Job Interview Is an Excellent Way to Share Your Experience and Skills
Never underestimate the importance of a story!
When an interviewer asks you a question, say for example about a skill you’ve listed on your resume, don’t give bland answers. Tell them about your experience around that skill- how did you earn it, what were you doing at that time and where have you managed to apply it?
Interviewers want to see people who are invested in their own personal growth because it reflects well on the company. If you’re feeling a little anxious about this step, ask a friend to help you out by listening to various stories about your skills.
