References Can Make a Big Difference in Getting Hired
Speaking of references, they are crucial to landing a new job. Many tend to believe that you must only ask your boss for references, but nothing could be further from the truth. You could get them from other co-workers, subordinates, suppliers, and even clients.
Of course, maybe you haven’t had the best workplace relationship with a supervisor or a colleague and you’re worried their references might not be entirely positive. In that case, try to get some personal references instead.
Store all of them on LinkedIn and when the opportunity arises, whip them out and show them off to an interviewer!
