Con: Expensive Ceremony

Wedding planning is not easy, nor is it cheap. You could try to DIY most of your wedding, sure, in order to cut costs, but there are some things you simply won’t be able to avoid paying for. And the worst part is that vendors know this, so they’ll put high prices on just about anything- cakes, dresses, invitations… Everything.

Then they’ll remind you how you WANT this, because this is your dream wedding, right? A once-in-a-lifetime event. And there you go, spending hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

But it’s not just the costs you have to worry about, it’s everything else too. Your groom may be uninterested in wedding planning. Your wife could turn out to be a bridezilla. If relatives offer to help pay, most of the time it’s expected that they’ll have a say in the planning.

So this is another thing you have to consider before thinking about getting married. Wedding planning sounds nice, but it’s anything but easy.
