At the School of American Ballet at Lincoln Center in New York, you’ll pay $950 between January and May.

Relocating for these activities is simply not feasible, so you have to look for other methods. If your kids enjoy a lot of activities, try to limit their classes to just one that they love and engage in the others with them as a hobby. For example, your child could be passionate about tennis and painting. Let them take tennis classes, but you could make painting a family activity instead.

Also, where possible, look for discounts. Enrolling children early usually offers a discount and some places offer deals for families with more children. Check Groupon for classes at the fraction of the cost, too.
