Alcohol and Tobacco

As we mentioned earlier, it’s impossible to return alcohol to Costco. Same with tobacco products. That’s because, in most states, it’s illegal.

You might be in luck if you’re going to travel soon, especially if you’re going to travel to a state in which it’s not illegal to return these items. In that case, you can hold on to them for a little while longer before you could take them to another Costco warehouse to get your money back!
