5. Correctional Officers and Jailers
Correctional officers and jailers can never let their guard down. They guard inmates in their home institutions, but their job entails so much more than that. They’re the people both the inmates and the public rely on when they’re in transit to court, another penal facility, or medical facility.
Not only are they forced to deal with potentially violent and dangerous individuals on a daily basis, but when having to move them they have to look out for outside danger too.
