Giant Eagle-Cheaper Than Some

This supermarket chain can be found in Maryland, Ohio, West Virginia, and Pennsylvania. Now that you know where to find it, you can safely avoid it. Even if it’s cheaper than other stores in the region, such as Wegmans, Karns, or Weis, it still has a long way until we could put it on the least expensive list.

However, according to some of its loyal customers, this grocery chain has managed to stay popular due to the fact that its stores had great locations. “Where there was a Giant Eagle, there weren’t any Walmart, Sam’s Club, or Aldi.” I guess that sometimes you go for the closest option.

  1. Another hurray for WINCO:

Besides being intimidatingly large, it has an awesome Bulk Food section that keeps us coming back time after time. It’s our preferred place to shop, even though we have to drive over an hour to get there.
