Polish Your Shoes Prior to Your Interview
This one might sound a little silly and it’s not so much a tip as it is a reminder. Polish your shoes before your interview! If you’re not in the habit of doing so, start today! We oftentimes take such good care of our clothes before we interview, but we forget about the details.
And yes, perhaps appearances shouldn’t matter as much, but you’re lying to yourself if you think interviewers don’t look at your shoes.
