It is said that 50% of marriages end in divorce. Now, this statistic has caused a lot of people to come up with probable causes for it. Some say that we, as Americans, have lost a lot of family values. Others claim that nowadays people have more freedom to exit harmful relationships without severe repercussions from their families and communities whereas a couple of decades ago, this was impossible.

We may not get to the bottom of it just yet, but we can look at other types of data in order to better understand why people are getting divorced at such a high rate.

According to analytics on U.S. Census Data, certain industries have much higher divorce rates than others. Today we want to look at these jobs in an attempt to figure out why more and more people are getting separated.

  1. Many people don’t think through the challenges marriage takes, trust, financial, children, relationships, relatives, sexual, etc.
