The same principles apply to fruits and vegetables. If you’re already cutting up portions for your meal, keep at it. Lunch or dinner will be at your fingertips next time you need to start cooking. 

As a bonus, you could even start eating them as snacks instead of reaching for less healthy options. Junk food is, first and foremost, convenient. When the need for a nibble arises, you won’t have to work for it at all. Remember to also thank your past self for the added effort!
