1794 Lord St Oswald-Norweb Flowing Hair dollar coin

Continuing the $5 million trend, one specimen of the 1794 Lord St Oswald-Norweb Flowing Hair dollar coin was sold at an auction in 2017 from the Lord St Oswald-Norweb Collection.

Wondering what makes this one in particular so valuable? It’s actually the first dollar coin issued by the U.S. federal government. No wonder collectors all around the world would pay so much to claim it as their own!

1933 Saint-Gaudens double eagle $20 coin

Better check all your pockets, old boxes, purses, wallets and make sure to sweep between old couch cushions- you might be in possession of a 1933 Saint-Gaudens double eagle $20 coin!

Only 13 are known to exist, but only one came to the open market, where it immediately sold for $7.6 million. That was back in 2002, and we’re sure many people have searched for their coins too, if they’re still out there!
