9. Physical Therapists

People with injuries require professionals to help them manage their pain while also improving their movement. Physical therapists do exactly that, but in order to land this sort of job you’d need a doctorate in physical therapy.

Is higher education worth it? Well, for women, it’s worth an average of $73,717, though they still make $9,000 less than men despite occupying 59% of jobs.

8. Budget Analysts

Companies need people to help them estimate their future financial needs while developing a budget. That’s where budget analysts come in. These workers typically need a bachelor’s degree, but paying extra for higher education is worth it, considering the fact that women make, on average, $74,498.

That means that a woman working as a budget analyst can make $27,000 more than other average full time workers.

They also take up about 62% of jobs in this industry.
