22. Market Research Analysts and Marketing Specialists

With the median pay for women as marketing specialists and market research analysts being higher than the median salary for U.S. workers by $16,000, it’s no wonder so many people chose this route. On average, women earn $63,932 in these positions, and this industry sees a percentage of women in occupation of 56%.

A sought after job, this occupation requires workers to have a college degree and in some cases, a master’s degree. That’s because they need to research market conditions in order to determine how well a product would sell. Understandably, applicants would need strong math skills in order to thrive as marketing specialists.
