3. Nurse Practitioners

There are more women working as registered nurses than men. But there are also more women working as nurse practitioners than men, taking up 88.1% of jobs. In order to get this job, you’d need to become a licensed nurse first, then you would have to pass a national certification exam.

After doing that, you’ll be earning around $100,914 as a woman, while the gender pay gap is much smaller here, something to also keep in mind.

2. Pharmacists

After four years of getting a doctorate, you could become a pharmacist and join the ranks of the other 52.9% of women who take up jobs in this industry.

For this job, you’ll also find that men and women make roughly the same amount of money, $120,173. Women only make around 98% of what men make.
