Magazines
Ephemera, or printed matter that wasn’t made to last, includes magazines, newspapers, and programs. Value depends (as with everything else) on condition, rarity, and the number of issues. Best of all, they don’t have to be ancient to sell well, so if you have any old magazines then you could be in luck.
On EBTH.com, a special edition Life magazine from 1969 featuring the Woodstock musical festival sold for $113.
That should make you think twice about throwing out old magazines! And while recycling is noble and good for the enviroment, you’ll benefit from checking the value of your items first.
