Many of us have undergone medical tests, but when it comes to handing off samples of fluid and tissue we rarely get to see medical and clinical laboratory technologists at work. We get to go home and wait for the tests to be completed but they have to operate confusing, incredibly expensive machinery while also dealing with chemicals and samples.
