Abigail Johnson, President & CEO of Fidelity Investments
Abigail Johnson started her career at Fidelity Investments in 1988, working as a stock analyst. In 2014, however, she became the head of the company, taking Fidelity Investments to new and prosperous heights.
As president and CEO, she launched a platform to trade ether and bitcoin in 2018 on Fidelity.
In terms of philanthropy, Johnson has been known to donate to numerous nonprofits such as the Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston.
This all goes to show that if one follows one’s dreams, even if it takes decades, they can certainly break that ever-present glass ceiling.
